PUBG Mobile Introduces Ultimate Royale: A New Ranked System for Aspiring Pros

PUBG Mobile has announced a new ranked system known as Ultimate Royale, which incorporates the same rules utilized in professional competitions. This new feature will allow players to compete across five skill-based tiers in online matches, enhancing the competitive experience for gamers. The introduction of this system emphasizes PUBG Mobile's commitment to its esports initiatives, aiming to foster a more structured environment for aspiring professional players.

 

Launching on November 10, 2024, the Ultimate Royale playlist will occur biweekly following the start of each 'Classic Season.' Players who have reached at least the 'Crown Tier' in either the current or previous season will be eligible to participate. This mode not only offers a competitive framework but also presents various in-game rewards, further incentivizing players to engage in the ranked environment.

 

A significant aspect of the Ultimate Royale playlist is the opportunity for the top 500 players at the end of each season to try out for professional teams. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between amateur and professional play, giving players a chance to compete alongside some of the world’s best. Such opportunities are designed to enhance player exposure and skill development within the esports landscape.

 

The growth of PUBG Mobile esports has been notable throughout 2024, exemplified by the success of the first PUBG Mobile Global Open, which drew over half a million viewers. Additionally, the game has formed a partnership with the UK-based esports organization Guild Esports. With an impressive daily user base of 30 million, according to Business of Apps, the Ultimate Royale playlist is poised to cultivate top-tier talent, further elevating PUBG Mobile’s presence in the competitive gaming scene.
