Several leading Argentinian esports organizations have united to establish a new entity aimed at advancing the country's esports scene. This new organization, known as the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Sports (Cámara Argentina de Deportes Electrónicos, CADE), includes prominent esports groups such as KRU, 9z Globant, Leviatán, Maycam Evolve, Furious Gaming, Undead BK, Isurus, Hawks, and Malvinas Gaming.
CADE will be officially introduced at a launch event scheduled for August 23 at UADE University in Buenos Aires. The organization’s primary objective is to serve as the chief advocate and representative for teams, players, and other stakeholders within the esports industry, focusing on promotion, professionalism, and overall development of the sector in Argentina and beyond.
The leadership of CADE features notable figures from the regional esports community. Gonzalo Martín García, CEO of Furious Gaming, has been appointed as the President. Fernando Diez, CEO of Leviatán, will serve as Vice President, with Mariel Lluch, General Manager of KRÜ, taking on the role of Secretary. Additional key positions include Facundo Calabró, CEO of Isurus, as Assistant Secretary, and Emiliano Penart, Founder of Hawks, as Principal Board Member, among others.
Gonzalo García expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “We have been in discussions with companies and key players in the Argentinian esports industry for some time. We are now poised to take the first step towards enhancing the industry with an institution that represents the main interests and contributions, aiming to promote and develop the esports scene.”
