Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere (NAVI) has announced a new partnership with financial technology company Visa to launch the NAVI Visa Academy, an initiative aimed at nurturing young esports talent. This new academy is designed to serve as an entry point for aspiring players into the world of CS2 esports, with the potential to join NAVI’s official academy roster, NAVI Youth.
The NAVI Visa Academy will operate through a structured, three-stage selection process. The initial phase involves selecting high-potential players from applications, which will then be followed by a three-week online competition. Participants must be aged 14 to 17, have a FACEIT ELO of over 2600, and be fluent in English at a B1 level. Players should also have no existing contracts with other organizations.
From the online competition, the top 10 players will be invited to a NAVI BootCamp in Berlin. There, they will train under the guidance of the team’s academy coaches. The top five performers from the BootCamp will earn a spot on the NAVI Youth team, known for producing notable talents like Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov and Valerij ‘b1t’ Vakhovsjkyj.
NAVI and Visa plan to document and share the academy's progress through social media and exclusive video content. This initiative follows Visa's recent esports collaboration with Argentine organization Leviatán through its digital wallet, n1u.
