MLBB Women's event at the SEA Games 2023 sets new audience records

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) women's competition at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games set a new record for the most-watched female esports event ever with 1.37 million peak viewers.
 
According to esports data firm Esports Charts, the competition, which was ultimately won by Indonesia, had an average viewership of 305,165 people throughout the duration of its almost 21-hour airing.

Esports is once again an official meddled sport in the 2023 SEA Games, which are being held in May. Other video games, like VALORANT, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Crossfire, and PUBG: Mobile, have also had meddled events, in addition to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
 
With the Men's competition, SEA Games' esports prowess extends beyond the title's female division.
