Manchester City has unveiled its new esports jersey for the 2024/25 season, created in partnership with clothing brand PUMA. The jersey features holographic details and a design inspired by Manchester’s 0161 dialling code, which is also included inside the neckline of the club’s home kit.
This regular-fit jersey proudly displays the logo of E& (Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC), which will sponsor Manchester City Esports for the third consecutive season. The new kit will be complemented by an official Man City Esports jacket and offers customization options for fans to add the names of the club’s esports stars.
The jersey is set to make its debut at the Fortnite Global Championships in Texas this week, with players Joshua ‘Cold’ Butler, Iwo ‘Setty’ Zając, and Aidan ‘Threats’ Mong showcasing it. Manchester City’s esports division, established in 2016, has grown significantly, featuring prominent players such as EA FC stars Donovan ‘Tekkz’ Hunt and Matías ‘Bonanno’ Bonanno, who competed in the FC Pro 24 World Championship in Berlin in July.
The club’s esports initiatives also include fan-focused activations. Recently, Manchester City extended its partnership with Gen.G for various events leading up to the League of Legends World Championships and previously collaborated with FaZe Clan for a stadium pop-up event in 2022. Additionally, Manchester City opened a gaming facility at the Etihad Stadium to support its FC 24 and Fortnite players.
