Manchester City's esports division, Man City Esports, has entered into a partnership with Challengermode, an esports tournament platform.
This collaboration will provide Man City Esports with a dedicated section on the platform, initially featuring weekly FIFA 23 and Rocket League tournaments.
Challengermode has been appointed as the official esports platform for Man City Esports.
To kick off the partnership, Man City Esports will host its first FIFA 23 tournament called the 'Treble Winners Cup' on June 29th.
This tournament is open to European players, and the winner will receive a signed City first-team shirt. Participants who perform well will have the opportunity to win various prizes, including more signed shirts, match tickets, and other awards.
Furthermore, Man City Esports has expressed its intention to explore hosting tournaments for other game titles in the future.
The football club has actively pursued collaborations in the esports industry, with its recent partnership with multinational esports organization Gen.G being announced just a few days ago.
