M80, a North American esports organization, has appointed Don 'SyykoNT' Muir as its Vice President of Esports. Muir will lead the development of M80's esports division, including plans for expansion into new titles.
Muir joins M80 after coaching Sentinels' VALORANT roster and collaborating with M80 founder Marco Mereu during his time at XSET. He left Sentinels in April 2023 after coaching their VALORANT team.
Previously, Muir led XSET's VALORANT team to a top-eight finish at the 2022 VALORANT Champions.
M80, founded in December 2022, currently competes in VALORANT, Rainbow Six Siege, and Street Fighter.
The organization has raised $3 million in seed investment to expand its presence in esports, content creation, and consumer products. M80 has partnerships with seven companies, including Aim Lab, Secretlab, and ZOWIE. Further details about M80's expansion plans were not disclosed.
