JingDong Gaming (JDG), a prominent Chinese esports organization, has unveiled a partnership with German supplement brand Doppelherz, aiming to enhance the health and performance of its League of Legends and VALORANT teams.
As part of the collaboration, Doppelherz's logo will adorn the left shoulder of JDG's team jerseys, with the brand providing support through its products. Despite the undisclosed financial terms and duration of the deal, the partnership underscores JDG's commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its players.
JDG, the esports arm of Chinese e-commerce giant Jing Dong, has established itself as a formidable presence in both the Chinese and international esports scenes. The organization boasts a diverse portfolio of partners, including industry leaders like Intel, BOE Technology Group, AutoFull, Durex, NIU, Asus' Republic of Gamers (ROG), and streaming platform Huya.
With Doppelherz joining its roster of esteemed partners, JDG continues its legacy of engaging with younger generations and maintaining its status as a frontrunner in esports.
While JDG recently secured a third-place finish in the latest LPL 2024 Spring Split, narrowly missing out on a consecutive international appearance at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), its past successes, including winning the MSI title in London and finishing fourth at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, highlight its competitive prowess and global acclaim within the esports community.
