IO Esports and Epulze partner with BizNet for Dota 2 Bali Major, Indonesia's first Pro Circuit Major tournament
Posted : 08 July 2023
IO Esports and Epulze, organizers of the Dota 2 Bali Major, have announced that Indonesian computing company and internet provider BizNet has joined the list of sponsors for the tournament.
BizNet will serve as the official internet partner of the Major, providing internet connections and infrastructure for the game servers and the overall event. This partnership is significant as the Bali Major is the first Dota 2 Pro Circuit Major tournament to be held in Indonesia, the home country of BizNet.
Taking place from July 7th to 9th, the Bali Major offers a prize pool of $500,000 (~£330,000) and serves as the last chance for 18 teams to qualify for The International 2023, which will be held in Seattle.
The tournament has already seen its fair share of drama, with BetBoom player Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko being caught watching a stream during a technical pause, a prohibited action due to its potential unfair advantage.
BizNet joins a lineup of sponsors that includes H&M, Shikenso, GRID, 1xBet, and DXRacer. Adi Kusma, President Director at Biznet, expressed pride in the partnership and highlighted the company's recognition of online gaming as a platform that brings people together and creates memorable experiences.
BizNet aims to provide its services and expertise to ensure a smooth operation of the Bali Major for players and fans attending the live venue as well as those tuning in from around the world.
