Game data platform GRID and game publisher Ubisoft have collaborated to introduce the Rainbow Six Siege Data Portal (R6DP), the inaugural data portal tailored for Rainbow Six Siege esports professional teams. BLAST R6 esports professional teams are granted complimentary access to the R6DP, empowering organizations to retrieve, analyze, and download match data efficiently.
The R6DP, featuring fully automated data ingestion and secure, application-based user interface for private data access, aims to enhance player evaluations and analyses for esports organizations. This initiative fortifies the multi-year partnership between GRID and Ubisoft, forged last year, by unlocking new data-driven opportunities within the Rainbow Six Siege esports ecosystem.
Following the record-breaking viewership of the Six Invitational 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil, Rainbow Six Siege continues its momentum as a premier esports title. The R6DP will be deployed during Stage 1 of the Rainbow Six 2024 Season, running from March to April, offering professional teams invaluable insights for strategic decision-making.
GRID, established in 2018, has emerged as a frontrunner in game data platforms within the esports industry. In addition to its collaboration with Ubisoft for the R6DP, GRID has partnered with various tournament organizers and game publishers, including Riot Games for the VALORANT Data Portal.
Recent endeavors by GRID include partnerships with key industry stakeholders such as the South Korean esports federation KeSPA, broadcasting company LTN, fantasy esports platform E-GO App, and an extended collaboration with betting company DATA.BET in February 2024. Moritz Mauer, Founder & CEO of GRID, expressed pride in their partnership with Ubisoft and emphasized the significance of in-game data access for Rainbow Six Siege professional teams in optimizing strategies and elevating competition standards.
