G2 Esports has announced an extension of its merchandise collaboration with Warner Bros., the official licensee for the Batman franchise. This extended partnership will introduce a new collection featuring a hoodie, a fleece, a windbreaker, and a jacket, further expanding the range of items beyond previous player jerseys.
The new collection follows the success of earlier merchandise drops, which included Superman and Joker-themed jerseys. According to G2 Esports, these collections have been among their most popular, and the upcoming Batman-themed line aims to build on this success by incorporating everyday apparel items.
Set to be unveiled at the LEC Finals in Munich on August 31, the collection will showcase designs inspired by Batman, although specific design details have not been fully disclosed. A teaser image indicates a primarily black color scheme, aligning with the Dark Knight's iconic look.
Sabrina Ratih, COO of G2 Esports, expressed enthusiasm about the new collaboration, highlighting its role in celebrating Batman's 85th anniversary. She emphasized the collection’s blend of esports and streetwear, promising stylish and casual options for fans. Following the LEC Finals, the merchandise will be available for a limited time through G2's online store, although pricing details have not yet been revealed.
