The FNCS Global Championship 2023 finals recently concluded in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, marking a significant milestone in the world of Fortnite.
 
This event has garnered remarkable attention, making it the most-watched Fortnite tournament in several years, with a peak viewership exceeding 720,000, according to data provided by Esports Charts. This remarkable viewership cements its position as the fourth most-watched Fortnite event in the game's history.
 
The FNCS Global Championship serves as the culmination of the 2023 FNCS season, the premier competitive series in Fortnite. Held in Copenhagen, Denmark, this event witnessed the triumph of the American/Canadian duo of Cooper and Mero, who walked away with a substantial prize of $1 million (~£820,000).
 
The exceptional viewership success was maintained throughout the tournament, with the final match being the most-watched segment. Peak viewership ranged from 646,000 during the first round to a staggering 722,000 for the climactic final match.
 
These viewership numbers firmly establish the 2023 FNCS Global Championship as the most-watched Fortnite event of the year and one of the top in the game's history. It ranks fourth in viewership, with the top three spots still held by iconic events from 2018 and 2019, such as the legendary World Cup 2019 Finals.
