As part of its FAMEHERGAME initiative, which was launched earlier this year, FIFAe, the esports arm of FIFA, has announced an exclusive bootcamp for women exclusively.
The bootcamp will be held in Zurich, Switzerland, from June 14 to June 16, and participants will take part in an esports development programme with potential to win all-expenses paid flights to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Player nominations will be accepted from Member Associations all around the world, including those in nations like Spain, South Africa, Brazil, Australia, and the United States. All Member Associations will initially hold their own regional bootcamps.
Participants in the bootcamp will hear from experts on a range of topics throughout.
The ECL, a well-known European women's league, and more than 20 Member Associations are already actively participating in this project, making it possible for players from all over the world to take part.
In order to help participants improve their skills and advance both their professional and personal growth as competitive esports athletes, the FAMEHERGAME bootcamp offers a complete curriculum that is specifically designed to do so.
Drawing on community research done the previous year, the bootcamp has been particularly created to address the difficulties women face in esports.
