North American esports organization FaZe Clan has extended its partnership with Rollbit, securing a new multi-year agreement with the cryptocurrency casino and trading platform. This follows their initial multi-million dollar deal signed in January 2024, which was heralded as one of the largest sponsorships in esports history. The precise length of the original contract was not revealed, but the renewed deal continues to emphasize a significant financial commitment from Rollbit.
Under the terms of the new deal, Rollbit will deepen its involvement with FaZe Clan, particularly focusing on the team’s Counter-Strike roster. The sponsorship reflects Rollbit’s strategy to enhance its presence in the esports sector beyond the United States. Rollbit, which was established in 2020 and operates on the Ethereum blockchain, has also formed prominent partnerships with Italian football club SSC Napoli and English team Southampton.
Since the start of their collaboration, FaZe Clan has undergone significant changes, including a merger with GameSquare Holdings in March. Additionally, the organization hosted the 2024 Halo Championship Series (HCS) Atlanta Major in July and unveiled a global line of gaming peripherals in partnership with SteelSeries.
Erik Anderson, President of FaZe Clan, expressed enthusiasm about the extended partnership, stating, “After a highly successful initial collaboration, we are excited to deepen our relationship with Rollbit through this new multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreement. As a leading global esports team, FaZe Clan offers valuable exposure to partners like Rollbit, and we look forward to exploring further growth opportunities in the future.”
