ESL FACEIT Group has revealed its Counter-Strike 2 event calendar for 2026, outlining six key tournament dates spread across the year. The events are scheduled from January to November, with specific details such as locations, formats, and prize pools yet to be disclosed. This announcement aligns with Valve's new tournament rulebook, which requires organizers to publish event schedules for 2026 by January 1st, 2025, in an effort to stabilize the esports calendar. For 2027 events, the rule extends to a two-year advance announcement.
The first event of 2026 is set to take place from January 27th to February 8th, while the second event will run shortly after, from February 23rd to March 15th. Additionally, three shorter, week-long tournaments are planned for April, May, and November. ESL has committed to providing further details about each event in the coming months, ensuring that fans and teams have more information as the events draw closer.
The six events in the 2026 ESL Counter-Strike 2 calendar are as follows: January 27th to February 8th, February 23rd to March 15th, April 12th to 19th, May 10th to 17th, September 21st to October 11th, and November 1st to 8th. ESL is also continuing its investment in the Counter-Strike ecosystem, having previously announced a $22 million contribution for 2025 and 2026.
In addition to the scheduled events, the ESL Pro Tour in 2025 will feature major championships such as IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne, alongside five 'master' category events, including ESL Pro League Seasons 21 and 22, IEM Dallas, IEM Chengdu, and IEM Spring. These initiatives are part of ESL's ongoing commitment to enhancing the Counter-Strike competitive scene and its long-term growth.
