Hoffmann will join the agency's leadership team, which includes notable esports professionals such as Roald van Buuren, Jan Moerland, and Wouter Sleijffers. The agency, founded in April 2024 by van Buuren and Moerland, focuses on event organization, strategy, research, and brand activations within the esports industry.
Hoffmann brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously worked at the UK-based esports organization Fnatic. During his four-year tenure at Fnatic, Hoffmann was responsible for team operations. He then moved to Rix.GG as CEO and most recently served as Head of Operations at Nigma. His background in these roles is expected to contribute significantly to ELO’s operations.
ELO Agency, which expanded its leadership team with Wouter Sleijffers in July 2024, is positioned to make a notable impact in the esports sector. The agency's founders, Roald van Buuren and Jan Moerland, also bring substantial experience from their previous roles. Van Buuren was the Director of Esports at FACEIT for a decade, while Moerland worked as FACEIT’s League Operations Manager before joining the ESL FACEIT Group as a Tournament Manager.
The agency has not disclosed specific details about Hoffmann’s responsibilities but has indicated that his operational expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional esports experiences. Hoffmann's role will involve leveraging his background to enhance ELO's offerings and contribute to the company's growth in the esports space.
