eFuse splits business into separate services under erena, esports.gg, and sidekick

eFuse, the esports event production and infrastructure company, has restructured its business into separate services by spinning off its main arms. The company will continue to function as a holding entity, while its assets will now operate as independent services under erena, esports.gg, and sidekick.
eFuse is well-known for managing College COD (CCL), the College Carball Association (CCA), and the collegiate Fortnite league in partnership with Epic Games. Additionally, the company owns Esports.gg, an esports media outlet, and sidekick, a media buying platform for creator channels.
According to eFuse, while these assets have complemented each other and added value in the past, they have now matured enough to operate as standalone products. Consolidating them under the 'eFuse' name has become confusing, especially with the launch of new services and experiences.
As part of the restructuring, eFuse has also unveiled a new website and visual identity for erena, its event automation and tournament platform. This move aims to provide each property with the necessary space to compete effectively in their respective markets.
No specific details about personnel changes or new appointments resulting from the restructuring have been disclosed by eFuse.
