EEM Enterprises, PlayerX form strategic partnership for an exciting esports event in Atlantic City

DEEM Enterprises, a development group, has unveiled a strategic partnership with PlayerX, a fantasy esports platform, signaling the commencement of a long-term collaboration.

World Champion Fantasy (WCF), the developer behind PlayerX, is also part of this partnership, and it promises numerous future events.

The inaugural event is scheduled for January 2024 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

This two-day competition will feature mixed teams consisting of esports professionals, amateur players, and NFL athletes, including Marquise Brown, Kurt Benkert, and JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is an investor in World Champion Fantasy.

This event is designed to be family-friendly, offering live entertainment, celebrity appearances, musical performances, and immersive experiences from sponsors.

The event will be broadcast live, and both in-person and remote attendees can anticipate watch parties, as well as a seamless integration between physical and virtual programming.

The collaboration with DEEM is just one of several partnerships that World Champion Fantasy, particularly PlayerX, has established in the past year. They previously joined forces with telecoms company Verizon to incorporate Verizon's expertise and infrastructure into PlayerX. Additionally, they partnered with content delivery service Edgio.

PlayerX is a fantasy platform that does not involve gambling, making it accessible to esports fans of all ages. Mike Vela, the Founder and CEO of WCF, expressed excitement about this development, highlighting how PlayerX's technology will be the foundation of their first family-friendly esports event with DEEM.

He emphasized the power of PlayerX to unite individuals of all skill levels, from amateurs to professionals and NFL athletes, who all share a passion for esports. PlayerX provides the necessary tools for both players and spectators to enjoy and participate in the esports experience.
