The Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG), along with youth esports platform Vanta and esports tech startup Esposure, have announced a kid-focused esports competition that will take place during the Collegiate Esports Commissioner's Cup in Texas.
On May 6 and 7, at Esports Stadium Arlington, the competition will feature esports competitions at all collegiate levels in the United States along with panel talks and activations.
McDonald's, which is the forthcoming Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup's presenting sponsor, will also be the provider of the young esports competitions.
The competition, formally known as the Middle and High School Texas Esports Championships, will be the first to conduct competitions at every level of collegiate and middle school esports.
The competitions will be held in the Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas, making it the first occasion of its sort to be held at a specialized esports location.
The high school and middle school competitions will take place during the Collegiate Esports Commissioner's Cup, a significant esports occasion when collegiate teams from various American regions play in a variety of titles.
The event will also feature an awards ceremony, partner activations, costume competitions, and meet-and-greets with well-known esports players and personalities.
Numerous colleges and universities will attend the event in addition to the tournaments and will host presentations and panel discussions to go along with the esports competitions.
Future students will be informed by educational institutions about the availability of esports scholarships and potential employment prospects in the sector.
