Disguised Toast is set to lose $1m due to lack of sponsors
Posted : 31 May 2023
Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang, a well-known content producer, has unconventionally disclosed the 2023 budget for his own esports organisation, Disguised. By the end of the year, the squad is expected to have lost $1 million.
Disguised Toast published the information in a tweet that included a chart that showed that the company anticipates a net operational loss of $620,000 this year.
Disguised, which was only established last year, does not presently have any esports apparel choices or committed sponsors, two of the most typical revenue sources for teams.
Although the content producer is expected to lose money on the esports endeavour, Disguised Toast, his brand as a content creator, might perhaps reap indirect advantages.
The organisation announced its arrival into League of Legends this month after originally beginning with a North American VALORANT lineup to participate in the second division of the VALORANT Champions Tour, Challengers.
