Esports data provider DATA.BET has announced an extension of its partnership with GRID, a data platform, aimed at delivering real-time data feeds for various esports titles including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and League of Legends.
Through GRID's data capabilities, DATA.BET aims to enhance its esports betting offerings for both B2C and B2B partners, ranging from bookmakers to iGaming platforms. Notable partners of DATA.BET include Bayes Esports and GG.BET, with the specific duration of the extension remaining undisclosed.
This collaboration marks DATA.BET's initial partnership in 2024, while GRID has already secured agreements with LTN, a broadcast media company, and E-GO App, a fantasy esports platform, earlier in the year.
In late 2023, GRID also entered a significant partnership with Riot Games, entailing the game developer gaining an equity stake in the data platform. Alex Kozachenko, Chief Product Officer at DATA.BET, emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership, enabling the enrichment of products and the provision of high-quality data to both B2C and B2B clients in the dynamic realm of esports betting.
GRID highlighted the significance of receiving data directly from suppliers, empowering DATA.BET to offer 'premium-grade' esports data products and furnish clients with real-time information.
Mikael Westerling, Chief Sales Officer at GRID, underlined DATA.BET's dedication to technological advancement, positioning their esports betting products as an ideal environment for unlocking the full potential of esports data.
The shared values between the two entities aim to foster innovation in the esports betting space by leveraging the granularity, speed, and reliability of official esports data feeds.
