Chris Mead gets named Chief Business Officer of RTS

Chris Mead, formerly of Twitch, has been appointed as the inaugural Chief Business Officer at RTS, a talent management and brand consulting firm.
 
In his new position, Mead will leverage his expertise in the creator economy to drive the development of fresh business opportunities, enhance the organization's talent ventures, and establish strategic partnerships with renowned brands.
 
Mead's role will also involve providing guidance to content creators in establishing successful careers within the creator economy and advising brands on fostering organic growth within the esports and gaming sectors.
 
Prior to joining RTS, Mead accumulated nearly a decade of experience at the streaming platform Twitch. He started as a Partnership Manager responsible for the EMEA region and later advanced to the position of Director of Partnerships.
 
In 2019, Mead relocated to San Francisco to become the VP of Global Partnerships. Over the past two years, he served as the Head of Global Creator Strategy & Operations, overseeing Twitch's global creator experience and benefits programs.
 
During his time at Twitch, Mead also contributed as an Advisory Board Member for the British Esports Association for two years. Furthermore, he competed for the North American esports organization Digitas' Call of Duty team at the beginning of his career.
