Champion, FURIA Launch Limited-Edition Esports Apparel Collection

Posted : 01 August 2024

North American sports clothing brand Champion has teamed up with Brazilian esports organization FURIA to create a special limited-edition apparel collection. This collaboration will result in the release of 12 unique items, including eight t-shirts, three hooded sweatshirts, and one crew neck sweatshirt. The collection will showcase designs featuring FURIA's mascot, along with branding from both Champion and FURIA.

The collection's release highlights three distinct graphic designs centered on the FURIA panther. One design presents the panther in a classic 1960s and 1970s mascot style, another shows the panther wearing a Champion hooded sweatshirt, and the final design features the panther alongside the Champion arch graphic. Additionally, the collection will include a unique 'Logo Lockup' that merges the logos of Champion and FURIA.

To promote the new apparel line, three prominent members of FURIA have been selected to appear in the photo campaign. These individuals are content creator Arapê, YouTuber Brino, and Counter-Strike player Gabriela ‘Gabs’ Freindorfer. Their involvement highlights the growing trend of esports organizations collaborating with clothing brands to produce custom and exclusive merchandise, a practice also seen with other organizations like 100 Thieves and G2 Esports.

This partnership is not Champion's first foray into esports. The brand has previously collaborated with other notable esports organizations, including Team BDS, Fnatic, and Luminosity, to produce specialized merchandise, jerseys, and capsule collections. For FURIA, this collaboration follows a recent partnership with Crunchyroll, which led to the creation of a My Hero Academia-themed merchandise line. The exclusive Champion x FURIA collection will be available online through both FURIA and Champion's stores, as well as in-person at the Champion Store on Augusta Street in São Paulo.
