Astralis teams up with Danish Red Cross youth for humanitarian partnership

Posted : 19 September 2023
Danish esports organization Astralis has unveiled a new partnership with the Danish Red Cross Youth, a humanitarian organization. This collaboration will feature Danish Red Cross Youth branding on all Astralis CS:GO jerseys, spanning their women’s roster, talent roster, and first team, which is set to compete in the ESL Pro League.

This partnership builds upon previous joint efforts between the Danish Red Cross and Astralis, primarily focused on initiatives for children and youth. Sidsel Nybo Andersen, a partnership consultant at the Danish Red Cross Youth, emphasized that this collaboration offers an opportunity to engage with younger individuals, both men and women, who can be challenging to reach when recruiting volunteers or promoting specific projects.

Under this new agreement, the partnership will expand to include branding on the jerseys of Astralis' two primary team rosters and their talent roster. The aim is to provide visibility for the Danish Red Cross Youth across all Astralis Counter-Strike teams and their digital media platforms. The Danish Red Cross Youth logo will be prominently displayed on the chest of the Astralis talent team and the first CS:GO team, while it will appear on the sleeve of their women's roster.

Anders Hørsholt, CEO of Astralis, expressed the organization's alignment with the Danish Red Cross Youth's mission, stating, "The work that Danish Red Cross Youth do for young people in Denmark matches the values we in Astralis strive to promote every day. As we have for a period freed up the main position on the jersey, it was only natural for us to reach out and support the enormous efforts for Danish children and young people that is done by Red Cross Youth."

Astralis has been in the spotlight recently, first with a vote to delist the company from the NASDAQ stock exchange and subsequent partnerships with electronics retailer Elgiganten and building material provider STARK.
