Allied Esports renew naming rights agreement for HyperX Arena
Posted : 10 May 2023
Allied Esports, a North American esports venue company, has announced the extension of its naming rights agreement with the peripherals firm HyperX.
The HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, which is a component of the Luxor Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, is the centrepiece of the multi-year expansion. The stadium will still be known as HyperX Arena Las Vegas, and HP will provide OMEN and HyperX products for the space.
The initial agreement between HyperX and the Esports Arena Las Vegas was established prior to the company's acquisition by HP. The agreement was renewed by the two sides in 2021 and once more today.
The location is among Las Vegas's oldest and most illustrious gaming establishments. The arena has welcomed over 1 million guests since it opened in 2018 and has held over 700 events.
The branding of the venue will once more be the main emphasis of the HyperX and Allied Esports collaboration renewal. The agreement also covers esports and gaming community development initiatives in the arena.
The arena's current gaming areas will be updated and furnished with PCs and displays by HP's gaming-focused brand OMEN. Contrarily, HyperX will provide gaming headphones, accessories, and microphones for usage in the arena and at esports competitions.
Daniel Kelley, Director of Marketing, at HyperX, commented on the deal: “Allied Esports is a key partner for us, with their ability to deliver a best-in-class esports destination in a city that has become nationally known for its esports, sports, and entertainment.”
The location is among Las Vegas's most illustrious and historic gaming locations. Over 700 events and over 1 million people have visited the arena since it opened in 2018.
The focus of the HyperX and Allied Esports partnership's renewal will once more be on venue branding. However, the agreement also covers activities in the space aimed at expanding the esports and gaming communities.
OMEN, a division of HP that focuses on gaming, will upgrade and supply PCs and displays for the arena's current gaming areas. For esports competitions, events, and other usage in the arena, HyperX will instead provide gaming headsets, accessories, and microphones.
