7Sea, an esports organization based in India, has revealed its participation in the popular game CS:GO by joining the Skyesports Masters, a franchised league in India. The Skyesports Masters tournament is scheduled to commence in July and will run until August, featuring a total of eight franchised teams.
7Sea is widely recognized for its successful participation in regional competitions of Battlegrounds Mobile: India and PUBG Mobile. However, this marks the organization's debut in the realm of PC esports as it ventures into the world of CS:GO.
7Sea Esports is under the ownership of Ampverse, a prominent Southeast Asian company that also owns the well-known esports brand Bacon Time.
Interestingly, 7Sea is not the only team making its entrance into CS:GO through the Skyesports Masters. Another noteworthy Indian organization, Gods Reign, announced its debut with its first-ever CS:GO roster in June 2023. Revenant Esports is the third organization confirmed thus far for the franchise league.
Apart from joining the league, 7Sea has announced its intentions to recruit two more CS:GO players for its roster by utilizing the Skyesports Masters cafe qualifiers. These qualifiers will be hosted in 20 gaming cafes across India, serving as a platform to discover additional talent for the teams.
