Nigerian professional boxer Damilare Arowolo, popularly known as “Ugly Wolf,” successfully completed a grueling 12-hour non-stop punching bag challenge as part of his preparation to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon punching a punching bag.
The endurance test took place at Wembley Gym in Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos, where Arowolo showcased his improved stamina following a successful five-hour non-stop punching session on February 12.
Arowolo’s 12-hour challenge marked a significant milestone in his training regimen as he geared up for an ambitious 69-hour attempt in April, aiming to surpass the current world record of 55 hours and 15 minutes, set by Indian martial artist Sidhu Kshetri in November 2023.
The boxer has cemented his reputation as a formidable force in Nigerian boxing, having won multiple elite championships and two national titles.
