NBBofC suspends Sikiru Shobesan for unruly behaviour

The Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) has suspended super-featherweight fighter Sikiru Shobesan for Six months over unruly behaviour.
The suspension came on the heels of a fight against Joshua Oluwasuen Wahab on the March 5, at the national stadium, Surulere Lagos.
Shobesan was also ordered to pay the sum of Thirty Thousand Naira N30,000 for damages caused by his fans during the bout.
The NBBofC in a statement declared that Sikiru Shogbesan had been suspended from boxing activities for the period of six months and to pay the sum of N30,000 for damages, following the Unruly behavior and incitement of his fans during his WBO Africa super-featherweight title fight against Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab on Sunday, March 5, in National Stadium, surulere, Lagos.
