Mexican super-middleweight champion Alvarez defends titles against Charlo in Las Vegas

Mexican super-middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has announced his next fight against Jermell Charlo, scheduled to take place on 30 September in Las Vegas. Alvarez, 32, will be defending his undisputed world titles against the American boxer.
Alvarez recently defended his world titles against John Ryder in May, emerging victorious in the contest. Meanwhile, Charlo, 33, currently holds the status of the undisputed light-middleweight champion and has an impressive record of 35 wins out of 37 fights.
Both fighters confirmed the bout through posts on social media, using the caption "UNDISPUTED vs UNDISPUTED" to indicate the significance of the match. Charlo holds the WBO, IBF, WBA, and WBC light-middleweight belts, with his only defeat occurring in 2018.
Alvarez remains a formidable force in boxing and continues to be regarded as one of the most feared names in the sport. His victory over Ryder, witnessed by over 50,000 spectators in Guadalajara, Mexico, brought his overall professional record to an impressive 59 wins out of 63 fights.
