Lawrence Okolie vs Chris Billam-Smith: Bournemouth increases stadium capacity for a WBO world championship bout to 15,000 spectators

After receiving a licence for 15,000 seats from the local government, Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium will increase its capacity for the world title fight between Lawrence Okolie and Chris Billam-Smith on May 27.
It implies that the WBO cruiserweight fight will be seen by the biggest non-football crowd ever at the stadium.
The venue typically seats 11,300 spectators for Premier League football games involving AFC Bournemouth, but BOXXER has been granted permission by Bournemouth officials to increase the seating capacity for hometown favourite Billam-title Smith's fight, making it the largest boxing event to ever take place in the south coast region.
"Wow! Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket to come and support myself and the show," Billam-Smith declared.
"Thank you to BCP Council, AFC Bournemouth and BOXXER for staging such an immense event for the town. I have never been so excited."
