Frazer Clarke has expressed his desire for a rematch with British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley after their split draw at The O2 arena in London.
Clarke, visibly emotional post-fight, emphasized his hunger for the titles, stating, "I wanted the titles," tearfully adding, "I want to be champion."
Despite the draw, Clarke affirmed his competitive spirit, declaring, "I'll be back with a vengeance," underlining his determination to return stronger.
Regarding a potential rematch, Clarke expressed eagerness, stating, "I'd love a rematch. I'd love to fight Fabio again," acknowledging Wardley's toughness and their evenly matched bout.
However, Clarke asserted, "He didn't beat me," highlighting his resilience despite facing challenges during the fight, including a point deduction for a low blow and being knocked down in the fifth round.
Reflecting on his performance, Clarke acknowledged areas for improvement, stating, "I'll pick the bones out of that," emphasizing the importance of discipline and adaptability in future bouts.
Nevertheless, Clarke demonstrated his resilience and fighting spirit, particularly in his ability to rise from adversity and mount a strong comeback during his inaugural championship fight.
