In only her seventh professional fight, Ellie Scotney delivered a polished performance against Cherneka Johnson, securing the IBF super-bantamweight title.
The 25-year-old fighter showcased her dominance throughout the majority of the rounds, leading to a unanimous decision victory in her favor.
The OVO Arena at Wembley witnessed a remarkable night of boxing with three British world champions emerging in a world-title triple-header.
In the main event, IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards exhibited his exceptional boxing skills, outpointing Andres Campos.
Prior to that, Nina Hughes successfully defended her WBA bantamweight title with a unanimous decision win against fellow Briton Katie Healy.
Despite her convincing win, Catford's Ellie Scotney expressed her dissatisfaction, describing it as "one of my worst performances." However, she acknowledged that becoming a world champion marked the beginning of an important journey for her.
Scotney stated, "I'm going home with my mum, putting my feet up in my pyjamas, and watching the rest of the boxing."
Although a card featuring three world championship fights would typically be held at a larger venue, even a stadium, the event took place with a modest crowd of 4,000 fans in attendance.
On the undercard, popular Romford heavyweight Johnny Fisher triumphed over Emilio Salas and played a significant role in ticket sales, accounting for over a quarter of the crowd.
