Chantelle Cameron vs. Katie Taylor: Indisputable British champion is prepared for her greatest matchup

Chantelle Cameron believed her competitor's account had been hacked when Katie Taylor called her out on Instagram.
 
Taylor, the unquestioned lightweight champion, doesn't often go after prospective rivals.
 
She is the best female fighter on the globe, and although Taylor even named Cameron in the tweet, she has seldom issued direct challenges to opponents.
 
"If it wasn't Katie Taylor going on Instagram this fight would never have happened," Cameron says.
 
"It was out of character, so I wondered, something's going on here, but it was real."
 
Given that the 31-year-old wasn't really in the conversation to challenge Taylor, you might understand if Cameron wondered whether a mistake had been made.
 
Taylor, 36, was determined that her homecoming would go on as planned, so when Amanda Serrano backed out of their rematch, she went to Cameron.
 
The unbeaten Cameron, who competes at a weight just above Taylor, is Britain's first female undisputed champion.
 
But despite the huge increase in female boxing, the English boxer frequently slipped past people's notice.
