Caroline Dubois aims to challenge boxing's elite Mikaela Mayer

After turning professional in early 2022, Caroline Dubois and her team took a cautious approach to her career progression. However, just 16 months later, Dubois is ready to take on boxing's elite.
 
The 22-year-old Londoner is now setting her sights on facing renowned fighters in the sport. Dubois expressed her desire to meet Mikaela Mayer or possibly Alycia Baumgardner if she moves up in weight by the end of the year.
 
Dubois recognizes the depth of talent in the lightweight division and sees numerous potential legacy fights that can be made. With an impressive record of six straight victories, including five decisive stoppages, Dubois is geared up for her upcoming match against Yanina del Carmen Lescano, ranked sixth with the WBA, at London's York Hall on Saturday.
 
While acknowledging the challenge Lescano presents, Dubois is already envisioning greater achievements. Her ambition is to become a multi-weight world champion and leave a lasting legacy in the sport, aiming to accomplish something unprecedented.
