Why we postpone Women Basketball League - NBBF

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) on Friday gave the reasons for the postponement of the second phase of the Atlantic Conference of the Women's League.
 
The postponement, according to the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), was necessary after the Sports Ministry announced a new date for the 7th National Youth Games.
 
The Ministry earlier in the week announced the 20th–30th of September as the date of the Youth Games, which is against the original date fixed for the start of the Atlantic Conference Phase 2.
 
The initial date for the start of the second phase was September 18–25 of the same month. NBBF has decided to change the date to October 2–8, 2023, at the same venue, Stephen Keshi Sports Hall, Asaba, Delta State.
