USA Basketball Team recovers from 15-point deficit, maintains perfect preparation record

With just five days remaining until the World Basketball Championship begins, the United States enters the tournament with an undefeated record in their preparations. In their final preseason game, the American team, led by Anthony Edwards' exceptional performance of 34 points, secured a hard-fought victory against Germany with a final score of 99-91.
Despite a strong start from Edwards with 16 points, Germany managed to lead 54-46 at halftime due to Daniel Theis and Dennis Schroeder's impressive play. The Germans even extended their lead to 71-55 in the third quarter. However, a determined effort from Tyrese Haliburton and Austin Reeves helped the US stage a comeback. Edwards' unstoppable performance led to the game being tied at 86-86, and his crucial contributions secured the victory.
In another pre-tournament game, Australia achieved a significant 78-74 win over France, despite Evan Fournier's impressive 29 points. Josh Giddey's performance stood out for Australia with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Serbia managed a 87-64 victory over China, even without Nikola Jokic. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the team with 19 points.
Italy secured an 93-87 victory against Brazil, propelled by Simona Pontecchio's impressive 26-point performance. Lucas Diaz led Brazil's effort with 18 points.
Montenegro emerged victorious with an 102-87 win over the Philippines, with Nikola Vucevic's standout performance of 18 points and 9 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson also made a strong impact with 27 points for the Philippines.
