To secure their victory in the round-robin format, Topfield won all their matches, amassing a total of 12 points. They also clinched the final decisive match against the competitive Ikoyi Team A with a score of 61-54, winning the championship and taking home the giant trophy.
Ikoyi Team A finished in second place with 10 points, having won four matches and lost two. They were closely followed by RangeRockers, who had the same number of points but a lower goal aggregate.
An excited Coach Godspower Anokam and his captain, Miene Praise, told our correspondent shortly after the game that hard work and dedication led to their victory. They praised the organizers for hosting such an engaging tournament and pledged to return next year to defend their title.

We commend Ikoyi Club for organizing this championship and encourage them to continue it, as it has the potential to develop future basketball champions for the country,” they emphasized.
Runner-up coach Christian Samuel acknowledged that his team lost to a better side but noted that they were worthy competitors, having faced the best secondary school basketball team in Lagos State. He assured that his team would come back stronger next year.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mrs. Kikelemo Asuelime, Chairman of the Aerobics and Other Sports section of the prestigious club, expressed her satisfaction with the players' conduct throughout the tournament, which made the competition enjoyable.

The championship is not just about winning but about helping players gain confidence and exposure in basketball. We hope to see more teams next year and possibly an exhibition game for the girls,” she assured.
