NBBF Women League: Air Warriors, Nigeria Customs on winning note in Savannah Conference play-offs

As the Savannah Conference of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Women's League dunks off in Lafia, Air Warriors of Abuja, Plateau Rocks of Jos and Nigeria Customs of Abuja have all started their final phase of the Savannah Conference play-offs in Lafia, Nasarawa State, on a winning note.
The Air warriors of Abuja recorded a 22 points margin victory over Nigerian Army Basketball Club 61 - 39 which was the final result of the game.
Home ladies, Nassarawa Amazon came close in winning their Match Day 1 encounter against Plateau Rocks but fell short by two points 61 - 59. It ended in favour of Plateau Rocks.
Nigerian Custom that are yet to drop a game since the play offs started in their game had a sweet walkover against Kada Angles of Kaduna that failed to turn up. Customs therefore got a 20 points walkover.
The top four teams at the end of the play offs in the Savannah and Atlantic Conferences will qualify for the grand finale of the Zenith Women's Basketball League next month in Lagos, South West, Nigeria.
