According to The Athletic's Shams Charnier, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry are eager to reunite for the national team and secure a fourth consecutive gold medal.

The trio has already discussed their participation, marking a potential powerhouse addition to Steve Kerr's squad. Alongside them, NBA stars like Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, Draymond Green, Dwayne Suker, Damian Lillard, De'Aaron Fox, and Kyrie Irving have also expressed interest in joining Team USA.

However, the tight schedule and individual considerations may lead to some last-minute decisions, with further discussions planned throughout the season.

The national team intends to hold a comprehensive training camp ahead of the Olympics on July 26, but some players may opt for rest after a demanding season. Additionally, the proximity of the group stage in Lille, a two-hour drive from Paris, may impact the stars' decisions.
