NBA play-offs: After beating Miami Heat, Boston Celtics gets optimistic

By defeating the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics maintained their NBA playoff chances thanks to Jayson Tatum's 33 points.
 
Derrick White scored 16 points, Jaylen Brown added 17, and the Celtics won 116-99 to avoid elimination.
 
In the best-of-seven series, the second seeds are behind 3-1 going into game five on Friday.
 
"Now we just have to go win another one, that's all that matters," said Celtics guard Marcus Smart.
 
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series in the NBA Playoffs.
 
"We're taking one game at a time," Smart added.

"We understand that the odds are stacked us, but we're a team that believes in us no matter what, and all that matters is the next game."
 
Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics' head coach, criticized himself for his team's lackluster performance in game three's 128-102 loss. He said: "We have to keep that same level of intensity, same mindset, same focus for the next game."
