NBA: Golden State Warriors defeat the Los Angeles Lakers, avoids elimination

With a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors maintained their chances of making it to the Western Conference finals behind a 27-point performance by Stephen Curry.
 
The reigning NBA champions triumphed 121-106, cutting their best-of-seven semifinal deficit to 3-2.
 
Draymond Green scored 20 points for the Warriors, while Andrew Green added 25.
 
The seventh-seeded Lakers will have another chance to get to the conference finals on Friday in Los Angeles.
 
As a result of Golden State's Kevon Looney accidently hitting Anthony Davis in the head, they might not have their star centre available.
 
In a game against the Warriors, who are attempting to win their 20th straight play-off series against opponents from the west, LeBron James led the Lakers with 25 points and tied Anthony Davis with a team-high nine rebounds.
