NBA considering penalty for Morant for second gun incident

Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies wasn't charged with a felony after posting pictures of a pistol on social media twice, according to NBA commissioner Adam Silver on Friday.
Soon after the NBA Finals are over, Silver is getting ready to reveal Morant's fate about the second gun incident.
After the Grizzlies player was caught with a pistol at a suburban Denver bar while live-streaming himself on Instagram, he banned Morant for eight games in March.
In May, Morant again displayed a firearm during a livestream, this time while riding in the front seat of a vehicle with one of his buddies.
"Waving them around, displaying them in a certain context, is not consistent with gun safety and is not the proper message that an NBA player, particularly one at Ja's level, should be sending to the tens of millions of followers he has and particularly when it's an incident once again, where it's been streamed live on social media," Silver said.
"So yes, I think given the similarity of this incident to the first one, I was alarmed, I was disheartened."
Colorado police investigated the incident in March but decided not to press charges. Morant has also not been accused of breaking any laws in connection with the event from May.
