Lillard, Antetokounmpo Lead Bucks to Victory, Ending Six-Game Skid

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a much-needed 123-100 victory over the Utah Jazz, ending their six-game losing streak. Lillard scored an impressive 34 points and contributed seven assists, while Antetokounmpo added 31 points and dominated the boards with 16 rebounds. The duo's strong performance was instrumental, particularly in the third quarter, where they combined for 22 of the Bucks' 31 points.

 

Bobby Portis provided a spark off the bench, scoring 19 points to bolster Milwaukee's lead. By the start of the fourth quarter, the Bucks held an 88-77 advantage, which they maintained comfortably throughout. Their dominant play ensured they led by at least 11 points for the entire final quarter, securing a decisive win.

 

In another game, Anthony Edwards powered the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 135-119 victory against the Chicago Bulls with a game-high 33 points, alongside eight rebounds and six assists. Julius Randle also made a significant impact, contributing 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Timberwolves exploded for 45 points in the fourth quarter, sealing the Bulls' fourth straight defeat.

 

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs achieved a 118-105 win over the Portland Trailblazers, thanks to strong bench performances from Malaki Branham and Keldon Johnson, who both scored 17 points. The Spurs showcased balanced scoring, with eight players hitting double figures, including Zach Collins, Stephon Castle, and Julian Champagnie with 14 points each. Despite the loss, Portland saw notable contributions from Deandre Ayton and Jerami Grant, who each scored 21 points.
