Lakers stave off elimination with victory over Nuggets in game 4

Despite the win, the Lakers face an uphill battle as no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs, especially against the reigning champions.

 

LeBron James acknowledged the importance of the upcoming game, recognizing it as the most crucial of the season for the Lakers. Although the team ended an 11-game losing streak against the Nuggets, the odds remain stacked against them, making their situation challenging.

 

Denver's Nikola Jokic emphasized the importance of finishing strong, despite starting slow in the series. Coach Michael Malone criticized the team's defensive performance, particularly in the paint, stressing the need for improved physicality and focus in closing out the series.
