Day 2 of the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2023 showcased thrilling matches. The United States managed to come back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Slovenia 77-72, avoiding a surprising loss.

Spain dominated France with an 88-69 victory, leading by as many as 29 points. Madagascar made history by securing their first-ever win in the competition, defeating Lebanon 83-66. Hosts Hungary continued their impressive performance, surprising Argentina with a narrow 67-66 win. Serbia edged out Brazil 74-72 in a closely contested match.
 
The United States faced a tough challenge against Slovenia but managed to rally in the fourth quarter to secure the win. USA struggled with their halfcourt offense but capitalized on Slovenia's turnovers in the final minutes.

Spain displayed their strength by dominating France throughout the game, showcasing solid defense and executing their game plan. Madagascar celebrated their first-ever victory in the World Cup, with Mathias M'Madi leading the team with an impressive 34-point performance. Hungary continued their impressive run, defeating Argentina in a tightly contested match.
 
In the Serbia versus Brazil match, Serbia emerged victorious with a 74-72 win. The game witnessed multiple lead changes, showcasing the closely matched teams' skills.
