Draymond Green's return to the Golden State Warriors remains uncertain as he serves a 13-game suspension for punching Yusuf Nurkic on December 12. The NBA forward, who was initially banned "indefinitely," has been undergoing individual and group therapy while engaging in periodic video calls with league officials to monitor his progress.
Rich Paul, Green's agent, is reportedly participating in these discussions. Although Green has missed six games already, he is expected to rejoin the team after completing the 13-game penalty, having recently resumed practice and facility use after being barred from all activities.
Despite the significant financial penalty of $150,000 for each game missed, Green's sixth career suspension and his history of on-court incidents have not prompted the Golden State Warriors to seek a replacement or consider trading him.
The team remains committed to Green, who is under a four-year, $100 million contract. While his return date remains uncertain, the Warriors continue to navigate without him, facing the defending champion Denver Nuggets in their upcoming game without Green in the lineup.
