Giannis Antetokounmpo made NBA history as he led the Milwaukee Bucks to a thrilling 132-125 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The 28-year-old became the youngest player in NBA history to achieve over 16,000 points, 7,000 rebounds, and 3,000 assists in his career. Antetokounmpo's stellar performance included 40 points, two 3-pointers, 14 rebounds, and 27 assists. His partnership with Damian Lillard flourished, contributing to the Bucks' fourth consecutive victory under coach Adrian Griffin.
Despite trailing 109-99 with just over nine minutes left, the Bucks staged a comeback with a 13-4 run, including crucial points from Antetokounmpo. Luka Doncic's missed free throws gave the Bucks the opportunity to take the lead, with Antetokounmpo making the decisive plays. Kyrie Irving's three-point play kept the Mavericks in contention, but Pat Connaughton's key 3-pointer secured the Bucks' victory at 135-127.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs faced disappointment with a 120-108 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite Victor Wembanyama's 19 points and 13 rebounds, the Spurs suffered their eighth consecutive defeat. The Grizzlies, missing key players due to various reasons, orchestrated an impressive comeback led by Jaren Jackson Jr.'s 27 points.
In another dramatic game, the Golden State Warriors experienced heartbreak as they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime. Andrew Wiggins appeared to secure the win with a late 3-pointer, but Chet Holmgren's game-levelling shot in the final seconds forced overtime. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 40-point performance propelled the Thunder to a thrilling victory at the Chase Center, securing consecutive wins over the Warriors.
