Abuja, Akure chosen as hosts for 2023 NBBF Premier Basketball League Conference finals

Abuja, the nation's capital, and Akure, the Ondo State capital, have been chosen by the Premier Basketball League Management Committee (PBLMC) to host the conference finals of the 2023 NBBF Premier Basketball League next month.
Babatunde Ogunade, the Chairman of the Premier Basketball League Management Committee, disclosed this after a crucial video conference meeting. He clarified that Abuja will host the Savannah Conference final, while Akure will be the venue for the Atlantic Conference final, and both events will run concurrently from November 4th to the 12th.
The top two teams from each Conference final will advance to the Final 4, which will also take place in November.
Teams such as Nigeria Customs, Nile University, Kano Pillars, Bauchi Nets, Plateau Peaks, Gboko City Chiefs, Gombe Bulls, and the Correctional Centre will compete for the two tickets from the Savannah Conference.
Rivers Hoopers, Lagos Legends, Police Batons, Delta Force, Hoops and Reads, Comets, Oluyole Warriors, and defending champions Kwara Falcons will battle for the two available slots from the Atlantic Conference final.
The registration process for all 16 clubs and players in the Premier League is expected to be completed before the conference finals kick off on November 5th, with all teams arriving on November 4th.
The winner of the 2023 NBBF Premier Basketball League will represent Nigeria at the 2023 Basketball African League (BAL), with the BAL Final taking place at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
