World Triathlon Championship: Georgia Taylor-Brown emerges winner

Georgia Taylor-Brown of the United Kingdom said it was a huge relief after taking first place in the Cagliari World Triathlon Championship Series competition.
The 29-year-old finished seventh in his most recent race in Yokohama after missing the podium in the first two races of the season.
However, she regained her form in Italy, overtaking France's Emma Lombardi on the final lap with an outstanding effort.
The series' first three women's competitions have all been won by Brits.
"It's a massive relief. I know it's only been two races and I've been a bit dramatic after those two races, but it's really nice to be back," said Taylor-Brown.
"I definitely did [doubt my own ability] after Yokohama. I'm so used to being in that front pack and I really missed it," said Taylor-Brown.
"I've just tried to keep my head focused and not worry about it too much and trust the process, and today I'm finally back!"
The 2022 Commonwealth silver medalist quickly made the transition from the swim to the bike, and at the beginning of the run, she and Lombardi were the only two riders still in the lead.
