Tour de Suisse Women 2024 debut in French-speaking Switzerland, with Champagne as host city

Next year, the Tour de Suisse Women will venture into French-speaking Switzerland, marking its debut in the region after three years in eastern Switzerland. The picturesque city of Champagne on Lake Neuchâtel has been selected as the Host City for the final two stages of the women's tour.
Tour Director Olivier Senn expresses his excitement about announcing the Host City for the upcoming edition while the current Tour de Suisse Women is still ongoing. Champagne previously hosted the men's Tour de Suisse in 2016, and now the women will have the opportunity to embrace the beauty of the region surrounding Lake Neuchâtel. The third stage will conclude in Champagne on Monday, June 17, 2024, followed by Stage 4 commencing from the same location the next day.
The local Organising Committee, led by Roland, a renowned producer of pretzels and other grain-based snacks, is the driving force behind the preparations.
Located in the charming village of Champagne in northern Vaud, which boasts just over a thousand inhabitants, the city is nestled at the foothills of the Vaud Jura and borders Lake Neuchâtel. Marc-André Cornu, Director of Roland, eagerly anticipates welcoming the Tour de Suisse Women to Champagne in 2024.
